Innovative Photonics Evolution Research Center (iPERC) is planning to hold the Journal Club of Robert Virgil Warren, Ph.D. Dr. Warren is an expert in Biomedical Optics, who studied under the supervision of Dr. Bruce J. Tromberg, Director of the Beckman Laser Institute, University of California, Irvin (currently Director of the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering). Dr. Warren, currently with Hamamatsu Ventures USA, supports various applications including biomedical photonics and photonics startups.

In this Journal Club, students will read and present an academic paper in English under the guidance of Dr. Warren, and all participants will discuss various issues and future directions in the boundary and fusion fields of engineering, informatics, medicine, and medical care based on the paper. We hope that many people will join us for the lecture.

Dr. Warren will come to Hamamatsu campus, Shizuoka University. You can also ask questions face to face.
